OneNote: Multimodal capture in Copilot Notebooks (Android)
OneNote on Android is gaining multimodal capture capabilities that allow users to transcribe audio, capture images, and take notes simultaneously within Copilot Notebooks. This feature brings Android parity with existing iOS functionality and enables offline capture of meetings, whiteboard sessions, and personal notes with AI-powered insights.
Microsoft's description
Multimodal capture enables users to transcribe audio, take images, and type notes in a single session. Copilot then creates a structured Copilot Page with insights and user-captured content, saved to a user-selected Copilot Notebook. Designed for capturing offline work moments—including in-person conversations, whiteboard sessions, and personal notes. This capability is already generally available on OneNote for iPhone and iPad.
