Dynamics 365 Project Operations: Optimize Project Operations - View current and upcoming staffing in a timeline
A new timeline view feature is being added to Dynamics 365 Project Operations to improve staffing visibility at both task and project levels. Admins/makers will need to enable this feature for end users once it reaches general availability.

The new timeline view augments the experience for team members in Project Operations by giving them visibility into current and upcoming staffing (both task and project level). The feature includes: Weekly view of task-level assignments. Weekly view of project-level bookings. Clear highlighting of periods without staffing (bench time). Business Value: A lack of visibility into current and upcoming project staffing leads to suboptimal planning and inefficient onboarding. This also creates uncertainty around bench time (utilization). By providing team members with a clear view of task- and project-level staffing, this feature aims to eliminate these issues. Enabled for: Enabled by admins/makers/marketers for end users
