Outlook: Upcoming visual improvements and a more consistent Outlook experience
Outlook for Windows will receive visual refinements to mail and calendar interfaces including icons, spacing, and alignment updates. These are cosmetic improvements with no changes to functionality.
Microsoft's description
The first updates will focus on visual details, such as icons, spacing and alignment. Users of classic Outlook for Windows will begin seeing refinements to familiar mail and calendar surfaces. The initial visual updates are intended to improve clarity and consistency without changing how users perform their tasks.
