Microsoft Teams: New controls for quick views in the chat list
Microsoft Teams will introduce user controls for quick views (mentions, followed threads, etc.) in the chat list, allowing users to show, hide, or conditionally display these sections. This is a feature addition with no admin action required.

Microsoft's description
The new chats and channels experience introduced quick views at the top of the chat and channels list. These are views into mentions, followed threads and more. This update allows users to choose when and how these quick views are shown. Users will have options such as always show, always hide and show only when unread. Users will also be able to collapse the quick views section.
