Dynamics 365 Project Operations: Configure actions on task grid
Administrators can now configure task-grid actions visibility (views, toolbar commands, context menu items) directly in Task Grid View Templates, enabling better customization and control over user interface options without affecting core grid and task details functionality.

This feature extends Task Grid View Templates so administrators can configure both task columns and the visibility of supported task-grid actions in one place. Administrators can show or hide individual actions across task-grid views, the toolbar, row-level controls, and the task context menu. Configurable actions include views such as Board, Timeline, Charts, Assignments, People, and Goals; toolbar commands such as Baseline, Conditional Formatting, and export; and task-management actions such as Indent, Outdent, Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, and dependency management. Essential capabilities, including the Grid view and access to task details, remain available.
