Sales Development Agent is a new AI-driven capability in Dynamics 365 Sales that autonomously generates quotes, manages customer inquiries, and facilitates transactions within branded templates. Admins can expect new configuration options through an interactive chat experience once the feature reaches general availability.

Key capabilities include: Generating quotes through D365S as well as 1P/3P systems and sharing them with customers to company branded templates. Connectivity to quoting and transaction systems managed through Agent 365 MCP registry. Answer questions about the quote and adjust details based on customer feedback. Facilitate customers completing self-service transactions. Escalating to human sellers when customers are blocked and need human intervention. Configuration through interactive chat experience with each agent instance.
