The Meet app in Teams is being renamed to Events app and will include new functionality for discovering, tracking, and organizing professional events across the organization in GCC High and DoD environments.

Users can now use the Teams Meet app to discover events across their organization, track what important events are upcoming, and plan and organize their own professional events. With this release, Meet app will be renamed to Events app.
